Scour Bos® offers broad calf scours protection against rotavirus, coronavirus, E. coli and Clostridium perfringens Type C. Vaccinating pregnant cows with Scour Bos helps build colostral antibodies that protect newborn calves from the ravaging effects of neonatal diarrhea, or scours. First year: Administer a 2-mL dose of Scour Bos 9 at 8-16 weeks prior to calving; re-vaccinate with a 2-mL dose of Scour Bos 4 (rota and coronavirus) 4 weeks prior to calving. Second year and beyond, give one dose of Scour Bos 9 at 8 to 10 weeks prior to calving.
